Technology during a pandemic.
Experiencing people participating in gatherings like social events, markets and even in political events was normal in the world. It made people feel that they were together physically. Students in schools especially in developing countries where technology is still not so much in use in schools were attending school to study.
Before pandemic, many people in developing countries were not utilizing and investing in technology. It was just heard "poor science and technology" in our ears. Few of them saw opportunities and decided to utilize them.
The pandemic lead to physically stop of some social, political and economic activities. The businesses, meetings and crowded places are now scaring, very scaring because they lead to high spread of the corona virus. Students are now at home, no more gatherings! People are now adopting to a new world.
Apart from other matters that pandemic reminds us, the corona virus helps to demonstrates the benefits and associated challenges of technology in businesses, social services like health and education, and digital payments.
Technology is now helping to reduce the spread of the corona virus while helping business to be open and to get access of the social services like there are some online studies are conducted in different applications.
The announced lock downs and practices of social distancing in many countries provided opportunities to different people based on technology like delivery services through online applications, advertisements, online meetings which were actually not so much in use before the pandemic.
While usage of most mobile apps has remained neutral during the corona virus pandemic, social media app usage has exploded during the lockdown, according to new data from Nielsen. Marketers and business owners are now advised to use and engage in social media communities where their customers spend so much time in, to trap the customers. Others can think on what has missed in new people's experience of lock downs and social distancing and grab opportunities.
A Lifetime learner.
“Once you stop learning, you start dying” – Albert Einstein
From the quote, Albert Einstein believed that learning gives life, and the moment you stop feeding yourself from learning then you start dying.
You have absolutely learnt about anything new. The feeling of learning something new is always great. Just because you wanted to know about that. Curiosity.
Lifetime learning is the ongoing and self motivated pursuit of knowledge for either personal or professional reasons. Its activity which enhances self development. It can be include, Internships and apprenticeships. Vocational courses. Teaching yourself a new language. Studying a new subject.
Bad curiosity is insecure, we want to find out something because we're afraid we're missing out, or we'll be left behind. Moody, we waver between excitement and disappointment based on what we find out. But we can all be curious in a positive way that will not lead to these negative feelings.
But it can act positively. lifetime learner creates a hunger for more knowledge. Their curiosity makes them to feel like needing more knowledge everyday. The hunger we normally have always, and always we must eat to satisfy our bodies. It is the hunger a curious person can have to satisfy his or her mind. Self exploring and exploring world. Through technology that has been advancing in today’s world, allows people to have access of learning new things everyday. Improves minds and make it be active and ready for new thoughts and knowledge everyday.
When key seems very small thing but it can open a very big house. Then let KEY means Keep Educating Yourself. Be curious, seek out and take advantage of every opportunity to gain more knowledge, to increase skills and become greater expert. Be resourceful about learning and sharing best practices.
Never stop growing, and let your to do list be of learning, learning, learning.
During this time.
Did you ever think that time will come when people will be living this kind of life?
Life with a lot of insecurities, uncertainties, worries and fear! Psychologists are advising that, as the first step to the solution, we should accept the challenges once happened.
It is okay for human beings to feel the way we are all feeling right now. The feelings of fear, worries, insecurity, and uncertainties! It is all okay.
Unlike other diseases that have been there in our communities, COVID-19 is among the diseases which remind us that, we human beings are dependent to one another. And the actions of one person can affect the others life. Taking an example that, currently, health professionals tell people that “wearing masks is not only to protect your life but, other peoples lives, in case you are infected. Being safe, clean and taking all precautions is not only for you but also, for people around you, friends, neighbours and family members.
During this time, when all the media, organizations and other initiatives take over in raising awareness concerning the disease, take care of your mental health as it is very important for your well being and survival. Take yourself out of the information that will increase fear and worries in your mind. At least you remind yourself on the precautions and other information concerning the disease twice a day.
Dear students and other people at home, you should have much time to explore yourselves, learn new things and spend time with your families. Improve your abilities and spread love to the people you have been far from, since when the disease took over by, calling, texting or emailing to give them hope.
Life must go on! When taking all precautions, life never stops. We are still on it. People have/need to work from home if possible, in their offices or any working places. One important thing is taking precautions as informed by health experts.
Storms are temporary, this too shall pass! Remember, nothing last forever, we have been in this world without covid-19, we, also shall be in the world without COVID-19. Get ready for new life after COVID-19. Increase your faith to God, eat well, exercise your body and feed your mind with positive thoughts.
